Grave Mistake - winner!

Ever wondered what it’s like to be buried alive?....

To celebrate the launch of the Castle Dungeon at Warwick Castle on 4th April, we gave away £1,000 to one lucky (or is that unlucky?) person prepared to face up to one of the ultimate fears – being buried alive!
We found five fearless contestants to take part in our Grave Mistake competition, where they were buried alive in their own coffin and submerged in a shallow grave in the grounds of Warwick Castle. Whoever layed low the longest in their coffin would win the grand prize.
Not for the faint-hearted, but guaranteed to be one of the most thrilling attractions in the Midlands, The Castle Dungeon will be the true epitome of gore and gruesomeness, transporting visitors to the darkest chapters of the Castle’s history, from terrifying torture chambers to the appalling plague. Enter if you dare!
Here's what happened at Warwick Castle....
The winner is KYLE!
Kyle survived 77 hours buried underground at Warwick Castle to win the Grave Mistake contest! Michelle dropped out at approx 10.30pm on Thursday leaving Kyle to take home the one thousand pound prize. Kyle's uncle is an undertaker so he's spent a fair bit of time in coffins....apparently! Well done mate
All the contestants have been though a life changing experience..and they all deserve a medal. All five will be on The Night Before with Nick Margerrison soon to talk about the experience of being buried alive!
