Public Image Limited, the band formed by Johnny Rotten after the Sex Pistols, are getting back together to play six UK shows this December.

It'll be the first time the group will have played together in 17 years. The gigs coincide with the 30th anniversary of the release of the Metal Box album.

They're also happening in December as a reference to PiL's first ever gigs - on Christmas Day and Boxing Day 1978 at the London Rainbow Theatre.

15th  -  Birmingham Academy
16th  -  Leeds Academy
18th  -  Glasgow Academy
19th  -  Manchester Academy
21st  -  Brixton Academy
22nd - Brixton Academy
