Swine Flu

Hospitals in the West Midlands are now so swamped with so many people worried about swine flu, some are setting up special assessment areas.

Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Good Hope Hospital have taken took the step after visitors leapt by a quarter with people worried they may have the virus.

A fortnight ago, the World Health Organisation announced the outbreak was now a pandemic - the first in over 40 years.
