Luke Wilkins

A long long time ago………………in a galaxy far far away…………….I was born……….okay that’s a bit melodramatic, really I was born in a hospital in Epsom, which was good enough for me!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored my Tash! We raised over £100!!! Thank you!!!

Next up I write two sets of blogs, one all about Motorbikes called the Motorcycle Diaries which is sponsored by the lovely people at Express Insurance, and one all about sport, which is a partner to my Offside show, and both can be found on a number of websites, from the Independent Newspaper, to MCN, to the Birmingham Mail and Sunday Mercury!

For My Motorcycle Diaries Blog - simply go here:

Right then, so you might know by now, if you have listened to my shows over the last 18 months that I am obsessed with three things, rock music, sport and motorbikes!

As host of Kerrangs daytime show, Mon – Fri 10am-3pm, it’s my job to bring you most amazing rock music during your working day, and that is not a responsibility I  take lightly I’ll have you know!!! I aim to bring a show that is so full of music to you that well……………you will gorge yourself on it daily without any tang of guilt!

I also have also been lucky to play sport professionally over the years, focusing mainly on rugby and cricket, but also trying my hand at everything from athletics, to rowing and motorbike racing!

Hence why its my job to combine my two biggest passions, sport and music for you on a Saturday afternoon from 1-5pm with the Offside show…..seriously…….its ace!!!

I also like to pretend I am a philosopher, I’m a founder member of the political party “Lets Make the Moustache Cool Again”, an active supporter of two great charities, the Teenage Cancer Trust and Special Effect.
