Emma Scott
Emma Scott, our resident "wench" (she doesn't mind being called that!) is in her element with a rock star in front of her, although, of course, it's all in a day's work - as she tells Him Indoors!
As well as presenting the Afternoons (11am - 3pm) on Kerrang, Emma has hosted all of the RAW nights at the Birmingham Barfly, as well as the exclusive Kerrang gigs starring Primal Scream, Trivium and Kasabian.  She's also in every Saturday evenings playing 3 hours of brand new and up front tracks from 10pm - 1am on the RAW show.

Features on Emma's show include "INCOMING" (single of the week) where she plays a brand new track about to break.

At Midday Emma plays live tracks from the archives in "Live Forever"

At 1pm you get to chance to vote in "50:50"

and in the final hour of the show Emma invites her little girls into the studio to set you some clues on her new competition
"Guess Who Rocks"
They give a different clue a day, and you guess who they are talking about - and win!  Win guitars, cd's, DVD's, film merchandies, T Shirts  and more - after 2pm each day!

Call Emma on 0845 688 1052, or text "K" then your mesaage to 64100.

The RAW nights are getting better and better each time - starting with Nine Black Alps, onto Morning Runner, The Kooks, Hundred Reasons, Hope of the States, Bullet for my Valentine, The Automatic, Coheed and Cambria, The Fratellis, Juliette and the Licks, The View, Little Man Tate, The Enemy, The Twang, Reverand and the Makers and most recently Kill Hannah. Click HERE to see pics and hear tracks.

Highlights of her time at Kerrang have been presenting backstage at the Kerrang Awards.  At the 2005 awards, the Foo Fighters were there, Emma chased Dave Grohl through the press room, up 3 flights of stairs, and to his table at the awards - just to say hi and get a photo of the legend. One of the most beautiful moments in her radio career to date - and she's been doing this for 20 years!

She's also done live shows from the Download Festival 2005 and 2006, and hosts and comperes many live gigs around the country as well as the exclusive "Live at Kerrang" sessions.  She hosted with Stuart Cable backstage at the Volvic Kerrang Fest with Feeder, Graham Coxon, The Fratellis and Fightsar.

She's a regular contributor to Kerrang TV, appearing on their "20 Greatest Rock Deaths" show - and crying over Kurt Cobain.

Her recent interviews include My Chemical Romance, Manic Street Preachers, Evanescence, Switches, Little Man Tate, The Fratellis, Ash, Fightstar, Lost Prophets, Snow Patrol, Panic! at the Disco, Dirty Pretty Things, Feeder, Trivium, All American Rejects, Orson, The Kooks, Graham Coxon, Editors, The Zutons, Foo Fighters, Funeral for a Friend, Lacuna Coil, Spidersimpson, Within Temptation, Franz Ferdinand, Hard Fi, Bullet for my Valentine, Fall Out Boy, Juliette and the Licks, HIM and The Killers.  Photo's of which can be seen on her Myspace profile and website - detailed below!

She DJ's quite a lot outside of the Kerrang Studios.  Recently she's played at The Ritz in Manchester, Hidden in Birmingham, The Wolves Civic, The Barfly, The Actress and Bishop, The Palace in Tamworth and Poppy Red.

She runs her own series of gigs too! Emma Scott Presents....keep checking back for the announcement of the next show.

She's a writer as well as a broadcaster and DJ.  Currently writes a monthly "RAW" column in Ryan's Gig Guide, which you can pick up in the Birmingham, Black Country, Shropshire and Worcestershire.

She's a proud parent of two beautiful but beastly little girls.  She's loves photography and live gigs, as well as vodka and diet coke.  Although the 4 things together can be a blur!
