Watch Taylor Hawkins' acceptance speech
Foo Fighters scooped the token rock honour at the annual music industry back-patting fest, The BRIT Awards, in London last night (21st February).
The band beat Fleet Foxes, Jay-Z & Kanye West, Maroon 5 and Lady Antebellum to claim the Best International Group gong.
Unfortunately, the Foos weren’t in London to accept the award so it was left to drummer Taylor Hawkins to do the honours via video link.

Dave Grohl’s favourite chanteuse Adele was the big winner on the night taking home the Best British Female and British Album awards.
The 23-year-old also stoked up some controversy by raising her middle finger to organisers after they cut her acceptance speech short to make way for Blur’s live set.
