Kate Lawler jumps into the driving seat from 3pm each weekday.

Kate Lawler jumps into the driving seat from 3pm every week day on Kerrang! Radio.  She found fame after winning the 3rd series of Big Brother winning more than 3 million votes, also making her the first ever female winner of the hit reality TV show.  Kate has an unrivalled rapport with her listeners and she bucks the radio trend by being a sharp, sassy solo female presenter in a male-dominated marketplace.

Kate has now carved out a very successful career over 8 years in the industry… Since co-hosting C4’s breakfast show ‘Rise’ with Iain Lee, Kate has enjoyed success as a presenter, co-presenting Five’s ‘Party in the Park’, ‘The Brit Awards’ for Capital Radio, and hosted a weekend radio show ‘Hit Music Sunday’ with Andi Peters also for Capital Radio.  Kate has presented ‘Celebrity Extra’ for Living TV, ‘What Women Want’ for UKTV, reported on Five’s ‘Boxing Academy’ and during the summer of 2005 she wrote a popular weekly column for New! Magazine covering fashion, music and topical TV shows.

Kate has a huge passion for sport and a first class knowledge of football. Her love of fitness inspired her best seller Boxersize DVD and made her a strong contender in ITV’s ‘Celebrity Wrestling’.

Kate won a C4 talent competition for her drama and comic timing skills, judged by Jo Brand and Piers Morgan which followed with two weeks of well received stand up comedy at the Edinburgh Festival 2005.

She has modelled clothing for the football team she follows – Arsenal FC and in the summer of 2006, Kate first graced the shop windows as the face of Ann Summers Lingerie advertisements.  She then went on to model for the brand for 2 years, fronting their Christmas and Valentines campaigns along with their Autumn/Winter collection.  This was the year Kate began to DJ out in clubs around the UK.

After nipping over to Fiji for 2 weeks to appear on Love Island 2, Kate joined Kerrang! Radio in October 2007 and in her spare time has made a huge name for herself on the club scene, DJing regularly at clubs across the UK, Europe and across the world.
